The sensitive line lets you feel every move your bait makes. The no stretch makes setting the hook effortless.
BIG Jack
I use 40lb Pro because of where I fish mostly (bridges and the Jupiter Inlet). Captain Dirk and I were at the Palm Bch inlet, which is very deep, looking for big jacks, snook, sharks and maybe a Silver King (tarpon). Using my favorite Yo-Zuri and yelling my catch phase "It's Yo-Zuri Time". After about 30 minutes I here some action on the surface and make a cast. I get hit and set the hook. An hour goes by and 2 different boats have reeled in there lines, but as for me, we slowly chase down whatever is on my line. Another 30 minutes goes by and I have WON!! Dirk gets the net on the Jack Crevalle and it in the boat. I must say thanks to Dirk for the excellent boating skills. I'm without the smoke.
Lemon Shark Frenzy
A friend and I went out to Sebastian Inlet and caught 4 sharks all together. In 2.5 hours we caught a 5'8 lemon, 6'5 lemon, 6'8 lemon, and a 8' lemon we pulled in together. They all ranged from 130lbs to 200lbs. it was insane! We had multiple hits and runs and a few break offs. I lost a 7 footer at the beach and our first run nearly spooled 500 yards of 65lb PowerPro before it bit through a 480# cable leader. Our best fishing trip so far!
45LB STRIPER ON TENNESSE RIVER
Late fall evening trolling for Walleye running PowerPro 30lb test. Hooked 45lb 48inch striper and got it in the boat. PowerPro Moss Green 30lb test can handle a lot more than what it is rated.
New Fluke Regulations
Catching keeper fluke today is tougher than ever before with size limits climbing each year in the New York and New Jersey areas. It can be done , but it means fishing deep . In this arena PowerPpro is a must! Setting the hook in 90 ft of water with 12 ounces of lead attached is just a simple flick of the wrist ....thanks PowerPro.

Shallow water striper
Fish was caught in the Spring of 2008 in 4 feet of water in the Wicomico River , a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay.Bait was fresh bloodworms .6' med action St Croix rod with 2500 series Shimano Symetre loaded with 20lb PowerPro . Fish was 40.5" long and was released to fight another day.
Carolina Rig Bass
I was out on my favorite lake here in central Florida on a calm Saturday morning with my 8 year old son. We worked our way around the outside of the lake for the better part of the morning and caught a few nice fish. I wanted to try some deeper water with a carolina rig before we headed back to the house and was I ever surprised! This one tipped the scale at just under 10 pounds, so I am still looking for that double digit fish.
Fishin' for Flattie and got a Fatty!
Here is a big bull I caught while flounder fishing with a new penny powerbait shrimp and 3/8oz jighead. I was using a Stradic 2500 loaded with 15lb Power Pro. I caught it on the fuel pier on base up here in Ft Walton Beach. The fish was a beast, somehow I kept it out of the pilings and got it to open water and the fight was on! It took 10 min to revive after such a long fight. I did not have a scale, but can only imagine how much it weighed, I took a quick measurement and pic with my phone and back he went. The picture does it no justice, I am a big guy at 255 lbs, so you can see how big it was. Definately the catch of a lifetime, and the best part was watching it swim away! I LOVE PowerPro, I could have never landed it without my PP. I have PP on everything I own and it has saved my butt more than once. Thanks for a great product and helping me land the fish of a lifetime!
Mystery Fish
I went out to Boston Mass. to go on a fishing charter boat for my high-school graduation gift. We were on the water for about an hour and a half in the middle of no where, (well that's what I thought) when we saw our first fish! It was a whale!!! Then we saw like a whole family of whales swimming next to us, and we followed them to the hunny hole. First we caught about 500 lbs of maceral, then came cod, and a mix of hadic. Then after that I let out about 200 yds of line and I thought I was snagged. Then my snag started fighting. I fought the fish, not knowing what it was for a good 20 mins. finally after fighting the fish and dripping in sweat, my 37 lb wolf fish appeared along side of the boat. It was an awsome feeling when I was the only person to catch a wolf on the boat and it was the heaviest fish on the boat too!
Slot reds
My friend Chad and I fish the mosquito lagoon every weekend and normally get a good turn out w/ redfish and trout but this time we both get back to back hook ups on these 2 identical 27" 6 1/2 lbs reds using 10lb moss green PowerPro w/ 20lb flurocarbon leader .
Spoonbill Slayer
My initial experience fishing for spoonbill, or paddlefish, was one of mixed emotions. I had begun to fish for spoons with the conventional gear, a surf rod, big spinning reel and thick 50lb mono line. I was having trouble casting the line great distances and I found the mono to be easily broken by a big spoon. I also missed many hook ups because of the stretch of mono. Thats when I decided I needed a new approach and I found myself checking out this new type of line called PowerPro. I was amazed at the small diameter that it presented and decided to spool up my reel with 50lb power pro. I took it out to the river and tried it out. I must say I was AMAZED! I could cast this line almost twice as far as I could cast mono. When I bumped my first spoon I set the hook and the zero stretch kicked it. I had one of the most solid hook sets in my life! The spoon ran down river and I turned him and the PowerPro held strong. From that moment on I turned nearly every reel in my collection into a PowerPro reel. I have bought almost every size from 5lb to 200lb. I love the stuff and will not go back to mono ever again. It is the strongest, most reliable line on the market and I will continue to spool up nearly every reel I buy with PowerPro from now on. Thanks guys!
My true fish story
My Fish Story After finishing supper we decided to give it another try for some good “keeper” Walleyes before evening set in. Fishing in the vicinity of Dead Man’s reef we spotted fish on the graph. While catching quite a few small to medium size walleyes, I caught a small Northern with teeth marks in its side and belly area. Shortly afterwards Linda caught a Walleye also with marks on its body. After these 2 fish were caught we did not catch anything else for almost an hour. Assuming there was something BIG lurking in the depths below us, I designed a makeshift Lindy rig. Utilizing some crude engineering skills, I made a 2 foot Snell and put about 1 oz. of lead weight on the one end and then I put a deep runner #9 look alike Perch on the other end with the idea of allowing the Rapala to free float about 2 feet off the bottom of the lake. I used my bait caster with 30 lb. Test Power Pro line and casted it out. Well…about 15 minutes went by and then I saw my fishing rod bend. Picking it up I set the hook and started to reel it in. Within about 2 minutes my line snapped. After quite a few sharp words, I returned to jigging. About 10 minutes passed by and Linda informed me that “I hear a rattle out there”. Not paying too much attention to her I continued to fish. She saw a fish jump and commented again about the rattle. She pointed to the surface of the water where she saw the fish jump. In the twilight of the evening I could see an outline of something which I told her was a rock. Continuing to fish she pointed out that the “rock” had moved and was now about 90 degrees from where it had started. NOW, I started believing her. I shut off the live well (to eliminate any noise) and we were able to drift over to the “rock”. What was thought to be a rock was a fish floating on the surface. Quickly I grabbed my net and scooped it up. The fish turned out to be a 32 inch Northern with my Rapala in its mouth. . After returning to the dock I informed the dock boy about our catch and he told me that he has never heard of anything like that before. And so……this is my 2008 3M Fishing Club annual Canadian Temple Bay Lodge TRUE FISH STORY. Jim and Linda E.
Tarpon
This is a Tarpon that a client of mine caught which was his first Tarpon ever. We got this fish using 50lb power pro and the fight lasted about 45 minutes. The Tarpon was 82 inches but the girth was not taken. This fish was thought to be in the 175 to 200 lb class just from the length.

Monster Drum in NC & Big Permit in Belize
When the big Red Drum show up in the fall on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the northern beaches from the Viginia state line down to Oregon Inlet see a nice run of large Drum moving south from the Eastern Shore and the Chesapeake Bay. Sometimes they're right behind the bar and sometimes they're out of casting range from the beach. The Striped Bass run is the same way. So, when conditions permit we launch boats directly from the beach to go after the fish that are out of reach by surf fishing methods. For many years we pursued Stripers and Bluefish, but in the past couple of years we've used the same tactic to target the trophy Red Drum that show up in the fall. We caught a few last year, about a month ago we caught 3 one day. This past Sunday, Nov. 2 , I beach launched with two of my buds, Jay Bender and Randy Williamson. We managed to catch 7. Jay caught the first one jigging a 4oz bucktail with a 6" Gulp twister tail, it was approx. 45" and was the SMALLEST of the day. Of all days, I left my measuring tape in my "surf" bucket in the back of my Jeep. On the previous trip I caught a 49" Drum, I had the tape with me that day, that fish went from screw to screw on the brackets that support the middle bench seat so we had a pretty good mark to approximate the lengths of the fish we caught. We caught six more that day drifting with cut baits on the bottom, all were over 50"! One in particular was an absolute MONSTER and my biggest ever, It was APPROX. 57" long and APPROX.32-34" girth, the common fish weight formula came up with 72-82 lbs. Picture attached. All the fish were released right after the photos were taken. On that day I was using a Shimano 6'6" Trevalla jigging rod and an Ambassadeur 6500 HCL loaded with 50lb Power Pro and an 80lb Power Pro shock leader. Jay was using my other 6500 HCL on a 7'6" Kunnan casting rod also with 50lb/80lb Power Pro. Randy had my heavy spinning outfit, A Shimano 8000 Spheros also loaded with 50lb/80lb Power Pro on a St. Croix X-heavy action 7' rod. The terminal tackle was a simple fixed weight Carolina rig, a 3-6 oz egg sinker, a 6" of 130lb Flourocarbon bite leader and an 8/0 - 10/0 Gamakatsu circle hook baited with cut mullet. I've been using Power Pro for many years now and have caught tons of fish on it. 40-50lb Yellowfins on top-water plugs, Cobia up to 50+ lbs, Stripers up to 40+ lbs, BIG Permit in Belize, lots of big Drum, Amberjacks to 60lbs, Tarpon, Barracuda, Snook, Bonefish, light tackle Puppy Drum, Speckled Trout and Flounder, Big Bluefish etc.. The extreme sensitivity, lack of stretch and unbelieveble abrasion resistance makes it my line of choice for just about every circumstance. I'll never use any other brand of braided line.
I've also attached a picture of my biggest Permit from my last trip to Belize this past Jan. It was approx. 25 lbs and I caught it on a ST. Croix med. action 7' "trout" rod, a Shimano 4000 spheros loaded with 20lb Power Pro with a 30lb flouro bite leader and a 2/0 circle hook. We were sight fishing with live crabs for bait. What a fish! It took me down to about 10 wraps on my spool before it stopped on it's first run. After a 30 min. battle I finally got it in the boat. My buddy Randy and I caught a couple more that day up to 20 lbs. We also caught tons of Bones, and a few mid-weight Tarpon on that trip, all on Power Pro. Power Pro has helped me to catch 2 fish of a lifetime in less than a year! Thanks for making such a fine product and giving me this chance to share the experience.
Thanks, Mike S.

New Swiss Record Fish
For years I use Power Pro and there's nothing better on the market. On September 13. I was fishing on Lake Murten in Switzerland. The record fish was caught with Power Pro 150 lbs. He is 7,51 feet (229cm) long and 191,4 pound (87kg) heavy!! After measuring, he was allowed to swim. Thanks my old Boy!!
Brought in a winner!
I just recently started using PowerPro 30 lb. braided line on my spinning reel after my neighbor/fishing buddy showed me how strong and resilient it had performed for him. Well, on my very first outing with PowerPro I caught a 7 lb. 3 oz. flounder that won the CCA Texas Star Tournament Flounder Division this year. Although the fish made a terrific initial run, I credit the line for keeping him away from obstacles and bringing him into the net quickly. PowerPro casts a mile, and comes off of the reel without a kink time after time. Not to mention how you can get so much more line of a stonger lb. test on your spool due to the smaller diameter. It brought in a winner for me, and now I'm recomending it to everyone! Henry M. "Hank" Mills
BIG MOMMA SNOOK
I had finished up a morning charter and instead of heading home I figured I would toss a few lures around my favorite fishing spot to see if there were any Big Snook in the area. Low and behold after three casts I was hooked up with this big momma snook. Using PowerPro line, I was able to boat this fish quickly and release her unharmed. "This is why we pro's use PowerPro Line."

monster red
Saturday night a couple of my friends and I decided to go up to Sebastain Inlet for some snook. We get there and the snook bite is on, so I throw out a greenie and bam, my drag starts screaming, after a 10 to 12 minute fight with lots of long runs we get to see him, got the drop net and netted him, he bottomed out a 25 lb scale with just his head off the ground. After a couple pics and measuring we released him. This Red measured 42 inches and around 40-50 lbs. He was caught on a quantum catalyst 40 pts inshore, star rod stellar lite med action, 30 lb moss green PowerPro with a 50 lb mono leader. Couldn't have done it without PowerPro .
